TIME MAY PASS BUT ALWAYS STANDS STILL

WHEN YOU'VE FOUND  OLD  FRIENDS WHO  WERE ALMOST KILLED

IT WAS IN THE BUSH THAT EVERYONE DEPENDED ON THE OTHER TO STAY ALIVE

BECAUSE WE KNEW WITHOUT EACHOTHER WE WOULDN ' T  SURVIVE

WE ALL HAD  OUR JOBS AND HAD TO DO THEM RIGHT

OR ELSE ONE OF US WOULD NOT LIVE TO SEE THE NEXT LIGHT

THE FIREFIGHTS,  AMBUSHES,  MINEFIELDS AND BOOBY TRAPS WERE  ALL  PART OF THE GAME

WE JUST WANTED TO STAY ALIVE - WE WERE SEEKING NO FAME

NOW IT IS 30 YEARS LATER AND WE NEVER REALIZED

THE BOND THAT WOULD MATERIALIZE WHEN WE WOULD  MEET AGAIN EYE TO EYE

IT SEEMED AS IF THERE WAS NOT A MINUTE THAT HAD PASSED

AS WE RESUMED OUR CONVERSATION FROM THE VERY DISTANT PAST

THESE ARE MY BROTHERS I NEVER KNEW I HAD

UNTIL ONE OF  THEM BROUGHT US TOGETHER AFTER 30 YEARS HAD PASSED

I HAVE LEARNED A VERY VALUABLE LESSON FROM THIS EXPERIENCE

THAT TRUE FRIENDS ARE BONDED FOREVER WITHOUT ANY DETERRENCE

SO AS TIME GOES BY, WE MAY GROW OLD AND LOSE OUR SKILLS

BUT THE TRUTH IS;  "TIME MAY PASS BUT ALWAYS STANDS STILL"
